Description

A simple and healthy crockpot recipe for pasta and meatballs. Perfect for busy days when you want a hearty meal with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 12 oz whole wheat pasta
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried basil


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into small meatballs.
  2. Place meatballs in the crockpot.
  3. Add marinara sauce, water, and dried basil. Stir gently.
  4. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  5. Add pasta and stir. Cook for another 30 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.

  • Ground chicken or beef can replace turkey.
