Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken
- 1 cup salsa (your choice of mild, medium, or hot)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
- 1 lime, juiced (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix salsa, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the salsa mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Shred the chicken with forks and stir it into the sauce.
- Garnish with cilantro and lime juice if desired.
