Description
A healthy twist on the classic Monte Cristo sandwich, these breakfast sliders are easy to make and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 6 whole wheat slider buns
- 6 slices turkey breast
- 6 slices low-fat Swiss cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh spinach leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Whisk eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, and honey in a bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Dip slider buns in the egg mixture and cook until golden brown.
- Layer turkey, cheese, and spinach on the bottom half of each bun.
- Top with the other half of the bun.
- Bake for 5 minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve warm.

- Use whole wheat buns for extra fiber.
- Substitute turkey with chicken if preferred.
