Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cook lasagna noodles as per package instructions.
- Brown beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix ricotta, egg, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Layer noodles, beef sauce, ricotta mix, and mozzarella in a baking dish.
- Repeat layers, ending with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncovered for 15 minutes.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
