Description
A creamy and healthy dip made from fava beans, perfect for snacks or appetizers.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked fava beans
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp tahini (optional)
Instructions
- Blend fava beans, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and cumin until smooth.
- Add salt and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Mix in chopped parsley and tahini if using.
- Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
- Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with extra parsley.
Notes
- Soak dried fava beans overnight if not using canned.
- Adjust lemon and salt to taste.
- Serve with pita bread or fresh vegetables.
