Description
A spicy and tangy BBQ sauce with a hint of sweetness, perfect for grilling or dipping.
Ingredients
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup Fireball whiskey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Stir for 30 seconds.
- Pour in ketchup, apple cider vinegar, honey, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add cayenne pepper and Fireball whiskey. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
- Adjust cayenne pepper for more or less heat.
- Use as a marinade, glaze, or dipping sauce.
