Description
A light and healthy tilapia dish with a tangy lemon caper sauce. Quick to prepare and full of flavor.
Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tbsp capers, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add tilapia fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until flaky.
- Remove tilapia from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in lemon juice and capers, simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return tilapia to skillet, spoon sauce over fillets.
- Sprinkle with parsley, pepper, and salt.
- Serve immediately.
