Description
A refreshing and healthy pasta salad with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil.
Ingredients
- 8 oz whole wheat pasta
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls, drained
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.
- Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss gently to combine.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.

- Use fresh ingredients for best flavor.
- Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
