Description
A simple and healthy garlic bread made with olive oil and roasted garlic. Perfect as a side dish or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 large whole wheat baguette
- 4 cloves roasted garlic
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the baguette in half lengthwise.
- In a small bowl, mash the roasted garlic and mix with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the garlic mixture evenly on both halves of the baguette.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic if roasted garlic is unavailable.
- Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
