Description
A healthy garlic knots bread loaf made with whole wheat flour and fresh garlic.
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix flour, salt, and oregano in a bowl.
- Add yeast mixture and olive oil to dry ingredients. Knead into a dough.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Divide dough into small pieces and shape into knots.
- Place knots on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 15 minutes.
- Brush with minced garlic mixed with olive oil before serving.

- Let dough rise in a warm place.
