A healthy twist on traditional pizza dough using Greek yogurt for a protein-packed, lower-carb option perfect for Christmas celebrations.
Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1.5 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix flour, yogurt, garlic powder, oregano, and salt in a bowl until a dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 2 minutes.
- Roll dough into a 12-inch circle on parchment paper.
- Transfer dough to greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Add toppings and bake 5 more minutes if desired.
Notes
- Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 2 days
- For crispier crust, pre-bake without toppings
- Substitute whole wheat flour for extra fiber
