Description
A light and refreshing soup packed with detoxifying ingredients and the benefits of green tea.
Ingredients
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 2 green tea bags
- 1 cup chopped kale
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced zucchini
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring vegetable broth to a boil in a pot.
- Add green tea bags and steep for 5 minutes, then remove.
- Add carrots, celery, and zucchini. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in kale, spinach, ginger, and garlic. Cook for 5 more minutes.
- Add lemon juice, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh vegetables for best flavor.
- For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
