Description

A light and refreshing soup packed with detoxifying ingredients and the benefits of green tea.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup diced zucchini
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Bring vegetable broth to a boil in a pot.
  2. Add green tea bags and steep for 5 minutes, then remove.
  3. Add carrots, celery, and zucchini. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in kale, spinach, ginger, and garlic. Cook for 5 more minutes.
  5. Add lemon juice, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh vegetables for best flavor.
  • For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
