Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. Brown ground turkey with onion and garlic in a skillet.
  4. Add marinara sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  5. Mix ricotta cheese with egg in a bowl.
  6. Layer noodles, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella in a baking dish.
  7. Repeat layers and top with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
