Description

A fresh and flavorful hummus dip seasoned with herbs. Perfect for snacking or as a side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp water (as needed)


Instructions

  1. Combine chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, and salt in a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, scraping the sides as needed.
  3. Add water, 1 tbsp at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Add parsley and cilantro, then pulse a few times to incorporate.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve with fresh vegetables or pita bread.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • For extra flavor, top with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika before serving.
