Crispy, tender chicken tenders made in an air fryer with minimal oil for a healthier alternative to fried chicken.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional for extra crispiness)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken tender in beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with olive oil if desired.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  6. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Serve immediately.
