Description
A simple and healthy homemade BBQ sauce you can make with common pantry ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Let cool before using or storing.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Adjust sweetness with more honey if needed.
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
