Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide into small pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and tie into a knot.
- Place knots on a baking sheet. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush over warm knots.
