A delicious and healthy bread combining pumpkin, chocolate, and pecans for a perfect treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix pumpkin, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before slicing.

- Use fresh pumpkin puree for best results.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
