Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cans (28 ounces each) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add honey and parsley, cook for 5 more minutes.
- Serve over pasta or store for later use.
