Ingredients
- 1 lb hot sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup beer (lager or ale)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into small pieces.
- Drain excess grease from the sausage.
- Reduce heat to low and add cream cheese, stirring until melted.
- Pour in beer and stir until well combined.
- Add cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika.
- Stir until cheese is fully melted and mixture is smooth.
- Serve warm with bread, crackers, or vegetables.
Notes
- Use a mild beer if you prefer less bitterness.
- For extra spice, add a dash of hot sauce.
