Description

A simple and healthy crockpot meal featuring Italian sausage, potatoes, and green beans.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage (sweet or hot)
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the sausage on all sides, then transfer to the crockpot.
  2. Add potatoes, green beans, onion, and garlic to the crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle oregano, basil, salt, and pepper over the ingredients.
  4. Pour chicken broth into the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Stir gently before serving.
