A healthy, keto-friendly version of the classic green bean casserole made with ground beef for extra protein and flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed and halved
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add green beans to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with cheddar cheese, almond flour, and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the topping is golden and crispy.
