A healthy keto-friendly Italian ground beef casserole packed with flavor and low in carbs.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup marinara sauce (sugar-free)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped spinach
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, spinach, and half the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Layer the beef mixture and cheese mixture in a baking dish.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Use sugar-free marinara to keep it keto.
- Add more vegetables like zucchini if desired.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
