Description

A hearty and satisfying casserole that combines hash browns, ham, and cheese for a complete meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (30 oz) frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
  • 2 cups cooked ham, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, diced ham, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, and diced onion.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream, condensed soup, melted butter, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the sour cream mixture over the hash brown mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it stand for 10 minutes before serving.
