Description

A fresh and flavorful salad combining crisp green beans, crispy bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 2 minutes, then transfer to ice water.
  2. Drain and pat dry the green beans.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss green beans, bacon, cheddar, and red onion in the dressing.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
