A healthy twist on traditional spaghetti, combining the flavors of pizza with nutritious ingredients.
Ingredients
- 8 oz whole wheat spaghetti
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Toss cooked spaghetti with marinara sauce.
- Add bell peppers, mushrooms, and black olives. Mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Sprinkle oregano and garlic powder over the top.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
- Garnish with red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.

- Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free version.
- Add cooked chicken or turkey for extra protein.
