Ingredients
- 4 medium onions, peeled and quartered
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss onions with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread onions on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 25 minutes, turning halfway.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle thyme.
- Roast for 5 more minutes until caramelized.
Notes
- Use red or yellow onions for best results.
- Adjust maple syrup to taste preference.
