Ingredients
- 500g lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 4 large potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano in a bowl.
- Shape mixture into small meatballs.
- Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Place meatballs in a baking dish and cover with mashed potatoes.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Use lean beef for lower fat content.
- Substitute milk with almond milk for lactose-free option.
- Add grated cheese on top for extra flavor.
