Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix mozzarella, almond flour, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Form small balls with the mixture, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the cheese bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain on a paper towel and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella for best results.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
- For extra crispiness, bake at 400°F for 5 minutes after frying.
