Description

A wholesome and hearty multigrain artisan bread packed with nutrients and flavor. Perfect for sandwiches, toast, or enjoying on its own.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup flaxseeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour, bread flour, oats, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and salt.
  2. Dissolve honey in warm water and sprinkle yeast on top. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. Add yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before slicing.
