Description
A quick and healthy stir-fry with tender steak, crisp bell peppers, and savory sauce served over rice.
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 cup cooked rice
Instructions
- Slice steak and marinate with soy sauce and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add steak and cook until browned, then remove from pan.
- Sauté garlic, ginger, onions, and bell peppers for 3 minutes.
- Return steak to the pan and stir-fry for 2 more minutes.
- Serve over cooked rice.
Notes
- Use low-sodium soy sauce for less salt.
- Slice steak against the grain for tenderness.
- Add chili flakes for extra heat.
