Description

A quick and healthy stir-fry with tender steak, crisp bell peppers, and savory sauce served over rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 cup cooked rice


Instructions

  1. Slice steak and marinate with soy sauce and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak and cook until browned, then remove from pan.
  4. Sauté garlic, ginger, onions, and bell peppers for 3 minutes.
  5. Return steak to the pan and stir-fry for 2 more minutes.
  6. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes

  • Use low-sodium soy sauce for less salt.
  • Slice steak against the grain for tenderness.
