A healthy and quick broccoli cheese casserole that’s packed with nutrients and ready in just 30 minutes. Perfect for a busy weeknight dinner or a side dish for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (low-fat optional)
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (whole wheat optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Steam broccoli until tender, about 5 minutes, then drain.
- In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Combine broccoli with the yogurt mixture and half the cheese.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
