Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Form small meatballs and brown them in olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  5. Layer noodles, meatballs, marinara sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella in a baking dish.
  6. Repeat layers and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Use whole wheat noodles for extra fiber.
  • Substitute cottage cheese for ricotta if preferred.
