Description
A simple and healthy red lentil pasta with tomato sauce that’s quick to prepare and packed with nutrients.
Ingredients
- 200g red lentil pasta
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the red lentil pasta according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add canned tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Drain the pasta and mix with the tomato sauce.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs if available.
- Add chili flakes for extra spice.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
