A healthier twist on the classic Reuben sandwich, baked with crescent roll dough for a crispy, satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 lb thinly sliced corned beef
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp caraway seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange in a greased pie plate or baking dish, pressing seams together.
- Layer corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese over the dough.
- Drizzle with Thousand Island dressing.
- Fold excess dough over the filling. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle caraway seeds.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
