Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillets
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup stone-ground grits
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapenos, diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a saucepan and stir in grits. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned.
- Add shrimp and salmon to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until shrimp turns pink and salmon flakes easily.
- Stir shredded cheddar cheese and diced jalapenos into the cooked grits until creamy.
- Serve salmon, shrimp, and sausage over jalapeno cheddar grits.
