Ingredients
- 1 cup pitted Medjool dates
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Blend dates in a food processor until a sticky paste forms.
- Roll the date paste into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Freeze the balls for 20 minutes.
- Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil in a double boiler.
- Dip each date ball into the melted chocolate, coating evenly.
- Sprinkle with sea salt and chopped nuts if desired.
- Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy.
