Description
A simple no-knead bread packed with seeds and oats for a healthy, hearty loaf.
Ingredients
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, flax)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Mix flour, oats, seeds, salt, and yeast in a large bowl.
- Add warm water and honey. Stir until combined.
- Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 12-18 hours.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven inside to heat.
- Transfer dough to the hot Dutch oven. Bake covered for 30 minutes.
- Remove lid and bake for another 15 minutes until golden.
- Cool before slicing.
Notes
- Letting the dough rise overnight improves flavor.
- Adjust water if dough is too dry or sticky.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
