Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
  • 1 package whole wheat biscuit dough


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
