A simple and healthy slow cooker teriyaki chicken recipe that’s perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred or slice.
- Mix cornstarch and water, stir into the slow cooker.
- Return chicken to the slow cooker and cook for 10 more minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

- Use fresh ginger for best flavor.
- Adjust honey for sweetness preference.
