Description

A delicious and hearty grilled cheese bake with smoky bacon and cheddar.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 6 strips of smoky bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Layer cheese and bacon between bread slices, buttered side out.
  4. Place sandwiches in a baking dish.
  5. Whisk milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour mixture over sandwiches.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.
