Description
A delicious and healthy pull-apart bread made with sourdough discard, spinach, and artichokes. Perfect for sharing as an appetizer or side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup chopped spinach
- 1/2 cup chopped artichoke hearts
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup warm water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the sourdough discard, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add the warm water and olive oil, then knead until a dough forms.
- Fold in the chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Divide the dough into small balls and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen spinach. If using frozen, thaw and drain it first.
- You can add garlic or herbs for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
