Description

A delicious and healthy twist on garlic bread subs filled with spaghetti.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked whole wheat spaghetti
  • 4 whole grain sub rolls
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut sub rolls lengthwise and hollow out slightly.
  3. Mix minced garlic with olive oil and brush inside the rolls.
  4. Fill rolls with cooked spaghetti and marinara sauce.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Garnish with oregano and basil before serving.

Notes

  • Use whole wheat spaghetti for extra fiber.
  • Add grilled chicken or vegetables for protein.
