Description
A delicious and healthy twist on garlic bread subs filled with spaghetti.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked whole wheat spaghetti
- 4 whole grain sub rolls
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cut sub rolls lengthwise and hollow out slightly.
- Mix minced garlic with olive oil and brush inside the rolls.
- Fill rolls with cooked spaghetti and marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese melts.
- Garnish with oregano and basil before serving.
Notes
- Use whole wheat spaghetti for extra fiber.
- Add grilled chicken or vegetables for protein.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
