Description
A flavorful tofu dish with a spicy kick and creamy coconut sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu (14 oz), pressed and cubed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 can coconut milk (13.5 oz)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Press tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut into cubes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides.
- Stir in soy sauce, chili flakes, and garlic powder.
- Pour in coconut milk, lime juice, ginger, and turmeric.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

- Use extra-firm tofu for best texture.
- Adjust chili flakes to control spiciness.
