Description
A healthy and creamy spinach feta yogurt dip perfect for snacking or as an appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash and chop the spinach.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add the spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
- Let the spinach cool, then squeeze out excess water.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, feta, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Add the cooked spinach and mix well.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a creamier texture.
- Adjust salt to taste as feta can be salty.
- Serve with pita bread or fresh vegetables.
