Ingredients
- 4 large onions
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut off the tops of the onions and scoop out the centers, leaving a shell.
- Chop the scooped-out onion and mix with ground turkey, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg.
- Stuff the onion shells with the turkey mixture.
- Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot.
