Ingredients

  • 4 large onions
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut off the tops of the onions and scoop out the centers, leaving a shell.
  3. Chop the scooped-out onion and mix with ground turkey, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg.
  4. Stuff the onion shells with the turkey mixture.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve hot.
