Description
A hearty and creamy soup perfect for Thanksgiving, featuring Italian sausage and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups ditalini pasta
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the Italian sausage in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add ditalini pasta and cook until al dente.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, basil, and oregano.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Serve hot.
