Ingredients
- 16 oz cremini mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent.
- Add mushrooms and garlic, cooking until mushrooms soften and release moisture.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Greek yogurt, Parmesan, thyme, black pepper, and salt.
- Combine mushroom mixture with the cream cheese mixture.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly.
- Serve warm with whole-grain crackers or vegetable sticks.
Notes
- Use low-fat cream cheese and Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
- For extra flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika.
