Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 12 whole wheat lasagna noodles
  • 1 jar (24 oz) low-sodium marinara sauce
  • 1 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.
  3. Brown turkey in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Mix ricotta, egg, and seasonings in a bowl.
  5. Layer noodles, turkey, ricotta mixture, and sauce in a baking dish.
  6. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
