Description
A delicious and healthy cheese sauce perfect for drizzling over fries.
Ingredients
- 1 cup low-fat milk
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk in cornstarch until smooth.
- Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Serve warm over fries.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of paprika or cayenne.
